Earn your Coding for Good badges in four sessions with Random Hacks of Kindness Jr!
Thanks to generous funding from AAUW, we are able to offer this set of coding sessions for half the usual program fee! Learn what makes computers work. Random Hacks of Kindness Jr (RHoKJr) will help you work toward your Coding for Good badges.
Thursday, Jan 27: Coding Basics - learn about functions and arguments, write pseudocode, and create and share a meme.
Thursday, Feb 3: Digital Game Design – create an avatar, learn to use arrays, develop and play your game
Thursday, Feb 10: App Development Part 1 – learn about data collection, write an array to store data, develop a prototype for an app
Thursday, Feb 17: App Development Part 2 – continue learning to code your app with the help of RHoKJr
Fee: $40.00 for the series includes Coding Basics, Digital Game Design, and App Development badges to be mailed upon completion of the series.
