Celebrate Earth Day 2021 with GSOFCT and Random Hacks of Kindness Jr!

 

We're in the fight of a lifetime to save the air, the water and the lands we call home. Climate change is the defining issue of our time. Participants will hear from organizations who have been on the front lines of addressing the climate crisis facing the planet.   Using Zoom, girls will work in groups with mentors to create prototype smartphone apps (using the online app block programming language, APP LAB from Code.org) to educate and inspire others to act on the crisis. Patch included.

 
Fee: $15 per girl.  Satisfies some requirements of the Coding for Good badges (Coding Basics badge included, to be mailed at conclusion of program).

If we cancel: a full refund will be processed. If you cancel: no refunds will be processed within two weeks of program date, as arrangements with Random Hacks of Kindness Jr. will have been made.
