The GSOFCT Gold Award Webinar gives an overview of the Gold Award process, roles, and expectations in Connecticut. GSOFCT Seniors and Ambassadors must take this prerequisite Gold Award Webinar.  During the webinar you’ll use the chat box to ask and answer questions. You can take the webinar as many times as you’d like.  To enable us to tailor the webinar to the participating Girl Scouts, the webinar is always live. After completing this webinar, Girl Scouts set up their online GSUSA GoGold Portal profile and submit their draft proposal. Girl Scouts should register individually to attend. Troops that would like to view together and receive credit for individual Girl Scouts should contact for options. 

Others are encouraged to view it as a troop or family and use it as a discussion tool. After viewing, suggested conversation starters include: What are the differences between Silver and Gold Awards?, What skills do you want to practice before doing your Gold Award project?, What Journey(s) will our troop do?, What does our timeline look like?

Cancellation Policy
If we cancel: If the council needs to cancel due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, we’ll do our best to reschedule. If you are not able to make the new date/time, you’ll receive a refund. If you cancel: If you need to cancel participants, we strongly advise finding replacements to take their place. You can make changes to your order online. For most events, if you cancel up to a month before the registration deadline, we’ll refund your fees. If you cancel 2-3 weeks before the deadline, you’ll receive a partial refund, which will vary depending on the type of event. A week before the deadline, no refunds will be given as arrangements have been made.
