Join us for the 10th Laurelei’s Letterboxing Weekend! It is troop camping with letterboxing fun! When you Letterbox, you'll follow trails and clues to find special stamps inside boxes, and exchange stamp imprints.
Whether you are new to Letterboxing or an experienced pro- this laid back weekend is for you!
The relaxed weekend will include Lettterbox rubbber-stamp carving, optional workshops, night letterboxing opportunities, and dozens of new letterboxes hidden all over camp! Pick and choose what you want to do and create your optimal weekend.
Arrive Friday night and settle into your assigned sleeping unit. Join everyone in the dining hall for carving, journal making and a snack. Opt to return to your unit or try night letterboxing. After breakfast, you make your schedule - hang out, letterbox, or bring your own activities. Pick up lunch between noon and two, and either continue your plan, or stop by one of the informal workshops going on in main camp. After dinner, we'll take the groups' input and do an activity in the dining hall, &/or have a central or unit-based* campfire and s'mores. *an adult with Ready Set Camp must be in charge of the campfire at all times. After a relaxed Sunday Breakfast, if you choose, head out on the trail till eleven.
Your fee includes event patch, Friday night Snack, Saturday’s breakfast, lunch, & dinner, and Sunday’s breakfast. This event is held rain or shine. Arrive Friday at 6 p.m. and stay until Sunday at 11 a.m. (For: Juniors and older, Troops, Individuals w/Adult) Fee: $60 per person.
