Think Like a Citizen Scientist Journey (multi-level Daisy – Juniors)

4 Sessions Tuesdays from 5pm - 6pm EST May 4th, 18th, June 1st and 15th 

Do you love to watch things grow from spring into summer? Interested in trying your hand at gardening; from one plant to a whole garden!  Join girls from around the United States as we work on our Think Like a Citizen Scientist Journey and learn about gardening!  We will work on learning about the scientific method by observing what we are growing, collecting data and sharing our findings.

You can grow whatever you want from a house plant, to a vegetable, from seeds or purchase a plant!  The most important part is that it is something you are interested in learning more about.

We will meet every other week starting May 4th for 4 sessions. At the conclusion of the journey girls will need to complete their take action project, we will give all the directions for this and they will have the opportunity to either share their gardening experience or create another project.

It is the policy of Girl Scouts of Connecticut that we do not record zoom sessions, so please be sure to attend all sessions and be prepared to actively participate in the fun!

$30 includes the journey award upon completion of Take Action Project

Cancellation Policy
If Girl Scouts of Connecticut needs to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances we will do our best to reschedule or move your fee to an alternative event of your choosing.  If that is not possible, we will provide a refund. Otherwise, REFUNDS WILL NOT BE PROVIDED.  If you cancel before the deadline, we will move your fee to another event of your choosing, unless a payment has already been made to the program provider.  If you need to cancel participants, we strongly advise finding replacements to take their place. You can make changes to your order online.  All events sponsored by GSOFCT are based in Eastern Time. It is our policy NOT to record virtual events, so no recordings will be sent if a session is missed. GSOFCT is NOT responsible for time zone differences, double bookings, forgetfulness, weather, or technical issues, so please keep these in mind when registering for events.
